Manganese dioxide which may be produced from a ferro manganese ore containing about 35% manganese or about one half the amount found in commercial ferromanganese alloys. The important manganese minerals are Pyrolusite, Rhodochrosite, Rhodonite and of less importance are Braunite, Manganite
