INTRODUCTION
A glycerine distillation plant is a facility that refines crude glycerin, a byproduct of various processes like biodiesel production or fat splitting into high purity glycerine. This process involves several stages including evaporation distillation and bleaching to remove impurities and achieve the desired quality for different applications, including pharmaceutical cosmetic, and industrial uses.
Biodiesel production: Glycerine is a byproduct of the reaction between a vegetable oil or animal fat and an alcohol, usually methanol.
Fat splitting: This process separates fats and oils into fatty acids and glycerine.
