RUBBER ROLLER FOR PRINTING MACHINE
The rubber rollers used in printing machineries are of different sizes and as per requirement they can be manufactured by using different dies and moulds. For preparing rubber product, like rubber rollers etc. There is a wide variety of individual technologies according to the type of product but there is a common pattern not greatly influenced by the choice of raw rubber. In printing machineries, rotary presses are used mainly for long runs such as newspaper and magazines. In these presses, both printing surface and impression surface are cylindrical. The printing plates are obtained for stereotyping. The stereotype plate is fixed on the plate cylinder which rotates in contact with the impression cylinder, the paper passing between the two to produce the print. Inking rollers are banked on each side of the printing cylinder to apply ink as the cylinder rotates. Rotor presses are fast, with speed ranging from 5000 to 50000 impressions per hour. The lithographic printing machines are similar to letterpress machines except that there is an additional arrangements of nap rollers to dampen the printing surface before inking.
