We shall study about Pipe Fitting Research by studying much about its important products which are well listed herewith: 

1. Plastic is essentially used in pipe fitting and is known to be an organic material just like wool, wood and paper. The raw materials which are used to manufacture plastic are crude oil, natural  gas, salt, cellulose and coal. These are considered to be a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic materials that are used as polymers. Plastics can be easily moulded, pressed, extruded into various shapes and objects. 

2. B.O.P.P. is actually a popular label material which is made of plastic. BOPP stands for Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene. This refers to the process of production that stretches the film over two directions, making it more transparent and stronger. 

3. Acrylic is another plastic material which has strength, optical clarity as well as stiffness. These sheets are easy to fabricate and bonds well with solvents and adhesives. Acrylic is entirely synthetic in nature and is made from coal based and petroleum compounds. The uses of acrylic are in furniture, LCD screens, medical devices, nail paints, security barriers, and so on. 

4. PET stands for Polyethylene terephthalate and is a thermoplastic polymer which is semi-crystalline and biodegradable in nature. 

5. PVC stands for Polyvinvy chloride and is a versatile material that offers many applications such as in – packaging, fashion and footwear, seat covers, automotive interiors, roofing membranes, blood storage bags, water service pipe, medical devices, window frames, resilient flooring, and so on. 

6. HDPE/PP – PP stands for polypropylene and HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene. PP is made from the monomer called propylene whereas HDPE is made from ethylene monomer. 

7. LDPE – stands for low density polyethylene which is a lightweight, soft and flexible plastic material. It is known for its corrosion resistance, toughness as well as low temperature flexibility. LDPE is known to have chemical and impact resistance and is considered to be easy to form and fabricate. 

8. Roto Moulding has many advantages such as uniform wall thickness, easy to make complicated shapes, low tooling costs, and much more. 

9. Extrusion refers to the process of creating objects of a specific cross-sectional profile by material pushing through a die of desired cross section. This may be a semi continuous or a continuous process that can be done in hold or cold material. 

10. Injection Moulding refers to a manufacturing process that produces parts by injecting material that is in molten state into a mould. These parts then serve in miscellaneous uses and its importance should be well known and studied well so as to be used appropriately. 

11. Blow Moulding refers to a manufacturing process for joining and forming together parts which are of plastic and hollow in nature. It is used in forming glass bottles which are hollow in shape. It needs to be noted and well understood that there are 3 main kinds of blow moulding: injection stretch blow molding, injection blow molding as well as extrusion blow molding.
