It needs to be well noted that Particleboard also known as the chipboard is a product manufactured from wooden as well as non-wooden materials, from bagasse as well as rice husk. The so called ‘particleboard’ is made by mixing of the binder as well as the raw materials together and forming a kind of mixture that is in the form of a panel or a sheet. This binder is known to be mist-sprayed through the assistance of fine nozzles.

The bagasse chemical content is much reported as waxes, ash, hemicelluloses, lignin, and others. The fresh bagasse for production of particleboard is stored for different productions in different conditions.

The bagasse and rice husk are actually known to be renewable sources of power and are used in many fields. The primary use of bagasse is a kind of fuel source that is burned for the production of heat energy. As bagasse has rich cellulose content, ethanol is directly produced from it. Also, bagasse is known to be used typically as a substitute for wooden materials for making pulp, forage as well as paper board. Thus, it is well understood that the ‘particleboard’ manufactured from rice husk and bagasse are simply renewable forms and have a huge demand in the market.
