HEPA Filters are cannoted as High Efficiency Particle Air Filters. These filters are designed for operating efficiency of 99.99% down to particles to 0.3 microns. The life of HEPA filters is 1-3 years depending on environment.
HEPA filters are used in electronic, pharmaceutical, mechanical, computer, textile, atomic, biotech, aeronautical fields, etc. They are also used in analytical laboratories botanical and biological laboratories.
They are also used in research Institute as well as hospitals and operations theaters. The basic feature of HEPA filters is that these filters elements are not cleanable. They must be replaced with new element as per service instructions.
The filter medium used in HEPA filter is water and fire -proof. These filters are non-washable and have excellent resistance to chemicals.
