Detailed Project Report on glass bottles for liquor

GLASS BOTTLES FOR LIQUOR
[CODE NO.3722]

Glass is one of man's most valuable and versatile materials. About 700 different glass compositions are in commercial use. These are fabricated into tens of thousands of different articles that have combinations of properties for about a thousand essentially different uses.

Glass ware manufacturing occupies an important role in the glass   manufacturing industry. The process of glass ware manufacturing can be divided into the continuous production process and the discontinuous process. For former is a process in which processes from the input of raw materials through the moulding of glass are conducted continuously and in equipose utilizing the tank furnace. As a whole the plant of this process should be operated for eight hours several kinds of moulding may be done by this process if the continuous forming machine is employed. The latter on the other hand is a process in which the day tank is used.

Raw materials are dissolved on the previous night in preparation for moulding in the day time. Although this process may produce two or three kinds of glass wares of the same quality and different shapes, it is a discontinuous process. In this case, semi-automatic forming machine is used.

The continuous production process enables a mass production of glass containers of uniform quality while the discontinuous production process is smaller in the production capacity.

Empty Glass bottles for Beer and Liquor have got tremendous demand   in India. Glass Bottles manufacturing occupies an important part in the glass manufacturing industry in the field of glass container manufacturing. The process of glass container manufacturing can be divided into the continuous production process and the discontinuous production process.

For former is a process in which processes from the input of raw  materials through the molding of glass are conducted continuously and in equipose utilizing the tank furnace, that is, the continuous melting furnace. As a whole, the plant of this process should be operated for eight hours. Several kinds of molding may be done by this process if the continuous forming machine is employed.

The latter, on the other hand is a process in which the day tank is used. Raw materials are dissolved on the previous night in preparation for molding in the day time. Although this process may produce two or three kinds of glass containers of the same quality and different shapes, it is discontinuous.

In this case, the semi-automatic forming machine is employed. The crucible is also employed for the discontinuous production.

The continuous production process enables a mass of glass containers of uniform quality, while the discontinuous production process is smaller in the production capacity.

The scope of uses of the products, glass bottles is sufficiently wide.  As they are characteristic of being secondary treatment, they are widely adopted as containers for liquid food stuffs. Moreover, if the caping method is standardized, the products may be used anywhere in the world, hence, the great possibility of export.
