    Crepe bandages are used as a dressing for fracture Bones and Sprain as a temporary basis. Its prevents the access of pathogenic germs. It is very soft and inert and provide a cushion and protection to fracture bones and sprains without causing any irritation.

    The main institutional consumers of crepe bandages are hospitals. Clinics and nursing homes. The manufacture of crepe bandage is regulated by Drugs and Cosmetics Control Act. It is manufacture in india by both large and Small Scale Units.

 
         At the incidences of simple & compound fracture of bones as well as  sprains etc. ordinary cloth bands were used conventionally Which were unhygenic as well as uncomfortable. The crepe Bandage comes into rescue.
