Solvent oil extraction is a method of making edible oil by using the principle of extraction and selecting a kind of organic solvent which can dissolve oil and grease, through contacting with the oil (soaking or spraying), so that the oil and grease in the oil can be extracted.

At present, the international common practice is: vegetable oils with high oil content (such as sunflower seeds, cottonseeds, etc.) are usually produced by pre-pressing and solvent extraction technology; vegetable oils with low oil content (such as soybeans) are usually produced by direct extraction. In order to make full use of oil resources and improve economic benefits, oil cakes after pressing should generally continue to be extracted to produce cooking oil.

It is intended to prepare a Feasibility Report to install 90000 Tons/Year Cotton Seed (Base Case) Processing facility as a Green Field Project for the production of Crude Cotton Seed Oil and Cotton Seed Deoiled Cake as by product.
