     The  consists  of a trough in which are rotating  two  screw bands,running  in  opposite directions. The  operator  stops  the machine  and opens the bottom gate by  a lever and  the  contents will  be discharged due to the outer screw delivering  into  this direction and due to the additional action of the arms above  the out let. It is intermittent.

     Crockery  is an item of daily necessity in every  house.  It includes  tea sets comprising of a kettle,cups  and  plates,sugar ot,milk pot and other items like full plates,half  plates,quarter plates,dongas  muggas etc. Apart from these items small  and  big size  dishes are also covered by the term crockery. These  dishes are used to contain sauce or other domestic acids.

     Crockery in fact is a very vast term which includes a number of  items all used in our homes. Wares and containers  made  from glass  are also covered under the term crockery. But to  be  more specific  we call it glass crockery and it has different  process of  manufacture than the variety made from eramics. This  project report described in detail the crockery items made from  ceramics only.

     The  crockery  industry  also  sometimes  called  the   clay products or silicate industries have as their finished  materials a  number  of articles that are essentially  silicates.  Products from  the  ceramic  industries  find  their  use  extensively  in ourhouse  and  in industries. The products may be  classified  as white  wares heavy clay products refractories,enamels and  glass. 

The white wares include china ware earthe were  pottery,porcelain vitreous ware and stoneware. china ware is the most useful  items and is used almost in all houses.
