INTRODUCTION
Pressure Cookers are conventionally made of Aluminium Alloys sheet or Circles. In Recent years stainless steel has penetrated into this field. As stainless steel is not thermally so efficient as Aluminium, the latest trends towards manufacture of Pressure Cookers with Copper clad bottom of pressure cookers.
In every family utensils of different metals are used made of steel, Brass, Aluminium, Copper etc. More over utensils of every metals has a definite significance of its own but aluminium utensils are especially used by lower class people Because It is light, quite reasonable and with high heat bearing capacity.
Because of these physical qualities and durability, Aluminium utensils have high demand and its demand is only increasing with each passing day with the increase in population, although the major demand for aluminium utensils is in rural area, yet its popularity is also increasing in urban areas.
The pressure cookers are extensile used in house hold for preparing food. Pressure cookers are extensively used in house hold for preparing food. Cookers have preference over the conventional cooking utensils due to the retaining the nutritive value and flavour of the cooked food and less time require and thus effecting considerable savings in time and fuel. It is a closed cooking with external heat source, capable of maintaining working steam pressure of the full liquid capacity of vessel total internal volume with lid in position of 10 litres capacity. But in market, the pressure cookers of 3 and 5 litre capacity are in much demanded by the customers. This project profile envisages manufacturing these capacity cookers.
It is a well known fact that a pressure cooker cooks food at a pressure high ambient pressure, thus necessitating sufficient precaution required in designing, and use of domestic pressure cooker to safeguard against accidents in the kitchen has been observed, keeping in view the average family, that medium size capacity cookers have greater market with the rapid advancement in the general living the people, the demand of pressure cookers is increasing day by day. Accord great scope for setting up of the new units for manufacture of pressure cookers specifications.
