Madhya Pradesh represents its name as the central state and is rightly in the heart of the country. There is no international frontier, and it has no coastline. It is bounded to the northeast by Uttar Pradesh, to the southwest is Gujarat, to the southeast is Chhattisgarh, and to the northwest is Rajasthan. The area is square miles is 119,016.

The other industries are telecommunication, automobiles, information technology, and electronics. Cement production also generates revenue in this state and contributes 13%. The sector contributes a great deal to the state economy.
