The new support scheme for entrepreneurs is to give them extensive support to start medium and small enterprises. To promote entrepreneurs to handle special categories by using funds and giving flexibility of operation on implementing the scheme.
Business loan schemes by the state government
The Kerala state government has earmarked 50 crores for the interest subvention MSMEs scheme. The term loans and additional working capital is made available at low rates to existing MSMEs. It provides loans of around 2000 crores, and for the implementation of the Entrepreneur Support Scheme, 25 crores are given in additional by the Department of Industries. This is perked with another margin of money of 15 crores, and there is an interest assistance scheme given to the housing units Nano industrial projects.
